Career
Day Was A Great Seminar!
|
| Yvette Miley, Vice President of News for NBC6/WTVJ, told the packed room of students, "Many speakers this morning have talked about passion. In this business you have to be passionate about the work of making television. Don't pursue this career to get rich. I made more money off my scholarships in my last year in college than I did in my first job in television. You really have to want to work in television." Over 60 students from South Florida schools, colleges and universities attended CAREER DAY on Saturday morning, February 12 at the Miami Airport Marriott where they interacted with eight television professionals. |
