TALLAHASSEE SEMINAR CREATED TALK

The Suncoast Chapter held a mentoring seminar at the Homewood Suites in Tallahassee on Saturday, April 9th. Lead by 2nd Vice President Carolyn Cefalo, three seasoned South Florida television professionals took part. Evan Bacon, Reporter, WFOR/CBS4, Ralph Murciano, Videographer, WFOR/CBS4 and Steve Owen, Senior Executive Producer, WPLG explained their work in television, invited questions and dialog with the people in attendance and critiqued video tapes. The participants came from WCTV and WFSU-TV, Tallahassee as well as WMBB-TV, Panama City. A similar mentoring seminar was held in Ft. Myers-Naples last Fall. The purpose of these seminars is to develop communication between people who work in television throughout the Suncoast region of Florida, Louisiana, Mobile, Alabama and Puerto Rico.
