PUERTO RICO LOVES TONY ZUMBADO

Zumbado, national award-winning Director of Photography, conducted the first-ever Suncoast seminar in Puerto Rico on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at the Hato Rey studios of Univision Puerto Rico to an enthusiastic group of Spanish-speaking professional photographers. Rebeca Torres, Vice President for Puerto Rico for the Suncoast Chapter who also is Vice President of Production & Operations for Public Television, TuTv and WIPR-TV, represented the Suncoast Chapter at the seminar. Rebeca writes, “The photojournalists of the television channels in Puerto Rico attended the first technical seminar on the island presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Suncoast Chapter. Tony Zumbado, a recognized and experienced Latinamerican photojournalist, demonstrated how to solve problems of lighting that photojournalists experience in their work. Zumbado stressed that everyone should know their equipment and the capabilities of each piece.
