PAQUITO CORDEDRO WINS 1ST SILVER CIRCLE IN PUERTO

| The
Suncoast Chapter celebrated its first Silver Circle award in Puerto
Rico with a gourmet banquet at the Banker's Club in downtown San
Juan on the evening of Thursday, October 30, 2003, recognizing the
lifetime achievements of actor, comedian and entrepreneur Paquito
Cordero. Over one hundred tuxedoed men and beautifully gowned women
from local advertising and television attended. Above left to right,
Mari Carmen Montilla and Victor Montilla. Victor is Vice President,
Puerto Rico for the Suncoast Chapter. He co-produced this award
presentation. Peter O'Price, President, The National Television
Academy who presented the award. Paquito Cordero, recpiient. Betsy
Behrens, Treasurer of the Suncoast Chapter. Bob Behrens, President
of the Suncoast Chapter, who co-produced this award presentation.
The Chapter believes that this evening is the first of an annual
event in San Juan that will recognized distinguished individuals who
have contributed to television in Puerto Rico for no less than
twenty-five years. |
